Stephanie G-M is a clean pro makeup artist and founder of Ouli's Ointment. She relocated to Austin with her family after having built her career in London, LA and NY over the last 20 years. She has an extensive portfolio of work and has worked with the likes of Alexa Chung, Madelaine Petsch, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cara Delevingne, Elle Macpherson, Suki Waterhouse, Labrinth, Little Dragon and Morcheeba.

Having worked at Fashion Weeks in London and New York has taught Stephanie a wealth of skills that she applies to her career on a daily basis.

The ultimate self-care move! A clean beauty look for my wedding
A BRIDAL MUST BEFORE YOUR BIG DAY (or any old day!)! The ultimate self-care treat! I wanted to look and feel beautiful for my wedding day, but I also wanted to make sure that I wasn't putting any unsafe or harsh chemicals on my face, just in the name of "staying power". I was curious if clean beauty products would last - the way conventional makeup is known to - through my inevitable weepy moments and a hot day.

Stephanie met with me ahead of time to shop some clean beauty products, which was an incredibly special day in and of itself. I felt completely pampered as she walked me through trying and buying a full "wedding day" face of makeup - a slew of green beauty hero products that she assured me would stay looking fresh and lovely throughout the day. I was impressed with the products she chose - the green beauty swaps looked and felt as beautiful and indulgent as anything I'd bought before, but with far better, healthier ingredients! I loved that so many of them had a great story, too - companies started by strong, inspiring women (and men) on a mission to clean up the beauty industry.

The best part was that Stephanie's long experience as a makeup artist ensured that I didn't buy any one-and-done makeup - instead, she showed me how I could assimilate my new products into easy, natural everyday looks, as well. And her warm, friendly and supportive demeanor made what could have been an intimidating experience feel like I was shopping with a best friend. HIGHLY recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for clean beauty swaps, or in search of a fresh new look in general.

Less is more - very fun consultation
In October 2017 I had the honor to meet up with Stephanie in L.A. and she gave me a 60 min. green beauty consultation. It was eye opening for me as I am naturally interested in clean products being a vegetarian and Eco-conscious person. she introduced me to some green products and how to apply them. She also showed me the many uses of oulis' ointment balm in combination with the makeup as it can be used to tone down dark lipstick, as a cheek bone highlighter and as a primer under foundation. she also taught me that less is definitely more and how to do make up in a way that it makes me look youthful and natural - nude make-up look for every day. The consultation was very fun as Stephanie is very easy going and fun to be around, there was a lot of laughter involved. I highly recommend the consultations you will learn a ton.
